"Wish it were a little heavier and had some kind of clip to keep rod from popping off when thread is pulled. I use a bungee to keep it on. Idea is great just needs a little fine tuning."

"I found this to be helpful in keeping yarn in one spot but sometimes crochet thread gets tangled between ball and upright posts and if you pull the ball and dowel slip off the posts."

"I didn.t like the hardwood ball holder, Every time I pull on thread it would flip out of the holder. Or thread would wined around the holder."

"Hardwood Crochet Thread Ball Holder Initially, I loved the Hardwood ball holder. However, upon receiving the product, I discovered that the horizontal bar that holds the crochet thread ball is too short for the slots on the side. When I pull the thread the bar pulls off. I'm hoping that it's just a fluke and that not all the ball holders are like that. Now, I use it without the horizontal bar. I just put the crochet thread ball over the vertical posts on the side. It works pretty good that way. "
